Indian playback icon Arijit Singh and Dutch DJ-producer Martin Garrix have released their highly anticipated first collaborative single, “Angels For Each Other”. The bilingual track marks a milestone for both artists: it is Singh’s first English-language release, and Garrix’s debut as a vocalist on one of his own songs.
The track dropped worldwide via Garrix’s independent label, STMPD RCRDS, and blends Singh’s signature Indian melodic depth with Garrix’s euphoric electronic production. Sung in both Hindi and English, the song represents a genre-spanning fusion that bridges their musical styles and global audiences.

In a behind-the-scenes video shared on social media ahead of the release, Garrix expressed his excitement about stepping out of his comfort zone. “Never thought I’d sing on one of my own tracks, but here we are,” the DJ said in a TikTok clip, where he’s seen in the studio with Singh. The two artists officially announced the collaboration via a joint Instagram post earlier in March, sharing footage from the recording process.
“Angels For Each Other” comes shortly before Garrix’s return to India for a special Holi concert in Mumbai, held at DY Patil Stadium on March 14, 2025. During the performance, Garrix surprised fans by bringing Singh on stage for a live rendition of the new single. The duo played Holi with colored powder, exchanged hugs, and delivered a moving set while a coordinated drone show lit up the sky above them.
The moment—now widely shared across social media—featured Singh strumming the opening chords on guitar while standing at the heart of the crowd. Garrix vanished from the main console mid-performance, only to reappear beside Singh for an emotional embrace, cementing a moment that thrilled thousands of attendees.
Garrix also performed a slew of fan favorites at the Mumbai event, including “Animals”, “Hurricane”, “Tremor”, and “High on Life”. Arijit Singh, meanwhile, continues to dominate charts back home with recent film tracks like “Jaane Tu” from Chhaava, and songs featured in Fateh, Sky Force, and Azaad.
With “Angels For Each Other”, Arijit Singh takes a bold step into international waters, while Garrix ventures into vocal performance for the first time, ushering in a new era of crossover collaborations between Indian and global artists.
