Seattle’s genre-defiant quintet Great Grandpa are heading across the Atlantic for their first-ever UK and EU tour later this year, and the timing couldn’t be sharper. Fresh off the release of Patience, Moonbeam—their first full-length in over five years—the band is stepping confidently into a new chapter, and this tour feels like the natural ignition point.
Set for October and November 2025, the run includes dates in Berlin, Cologne, London (as part of Pitchfork London at Islington Assembly Hall), Brighton, Manchester, and Glasgow. The announcement arrives as Patience, Moonbeam continues to ripple through the indie rock world with praise stacked high from all corners.
But this isn’t just another album cycle. Patience, Moonbeam is an emotional and sonic evolution—equal parts lived-in and luminous. There’s a gentle grandeur in the way the band drifts between twangy confessionals and soaring arrangements, like they’ve grown into themselves without shedding what made them special in the first place. The chemistry between longtime collaborators Al Menne, Dylan Hanwright, Pat and Carrie Goodwin, and Cam LaFlam feels intact and reinvigorated.
For fans in the UK and Europe, this tour is an invitation into the world of Patience, Moonbeam—live, unfiltered, and overdue. Tickets hit pre-sale April 9 (code: TASK), with general sale on April 11. Grab yours here!
